When people say, 'I couldn't foster because it would be to hard to give a dog up' We say 'How can it be harder than knowing a dog died because no foster home stepped up?' and that's why we do it time and time again.
A Dog's Prayer: "Treat me kindly, my beloved friend, for no heart in the entire world is more grateful for your kindness than mine. Don't be angry with me for long, and don't lock me up as punishment. After all, you have your job, your friends and your entertainment. I only have you."

NEW FOSTER COMING ** BUFFY** arriving in Canada from Beirut March 11th

BUFFY HAS FOUND A POTENTIAL ADOPTER WHILE ON TRANSPORT, SO SHE WILL NOT BE COMING INTO LOYAL RESCUE.  GREAT NEWS FOR BUFFY!  SHE'S ONE VERY LUCKY GIRL.  CONGRATS ON SCORING A NEW HOME SO QUICKLY IN CANADA!

There is a rescue group called BETA (Beirut for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). Each year they send over a few dogs to be fostered/adopted in Canada and/or the US.

To learn more about BETA, please go to their website at:

They are again flying dogs over, arriving this Friday March 11th.

This is Buffy's STORY: Buffy was rescued from a bird cage on the side of the road of a Lebanon Pet shop. She was in there for a minimum of 8 to 9 months until a women convinced the owner to give her the dogs - her brother was in there too. Her paws are a little crooked because of the size of the cage... We have no idea the rest of Buffy's story. She is approximately 4 years old. BETA spayed and vaccinated her. She is very very sweet. She is good with other dogs and submissive. She should be good with children and cats but this still needs to be tested.
