When people say, 'I couldn't foster because it would be to hard to give a dog up' We say 'How can it be harder than knowing a dog died because no foster home stepped up?' and that's why we do it time and time again.
A Dog's Prayer: "Treat me kindly, my beloved friend, for no heart in the entire world is more grateful for your kindness than mine. Don't be angry with me for long, and don't lock me up as punishment. After all, you have your job, your friends and your entertainment. I only have you."

Mexi-Mutts and CANDi International

I recently had the pleasure of assisting with picking up, holding and transporting Mexican Dogs to their foster homes and forever homes once they touched down in Canada!  Wow, what a wonderful and rewarding experience to know that we are... literally, saving dogs lives, one dog at a time.  We are giving them a future; a future filled with hope.  Because of CANDi International, these dogs will now have a home and family to call their very own; some of them for the very first time in their young lives.  None of this would  be possible without the help of a wonderful organization called CANDi (Cats and Dogs) International.  In short, what CANDi does is 'saving the lives of stray cats and dogs through spay, neuter and adoption programs supported by the tourism industry, travelers and pet lovers.'

Please go to CANDi's website to read more about what they do and please support them any way you can.  It's a wonderful thing they do.  Donations are always needed to help them to continue to save animals.

Here are a few of the wonderful dogs through CANDi that I've had the pleasure of helping:

Yola and Moka together again in their foster home in Canada!  Look how happy and carefree they are!
