When people say, 'I couldn't foster because it would be to hard to give a dog up' We say 'How can it be harder than knowing a dog died because no foster home stepped up?' and that's why we do it time and time again.
A Dog's Prayer: "Treat me kindly, my beloved friend, for no heart in the entire world is more grateful for your kindness than mine. Don't be angry with me for long, and don't lock me up as punishment. After all, you have your job, your friends and your entertainment. I only have you."

Adopted! Sasha (now Mojo) meeting her sister Isobel(now Chica) for the first time! July 12, 2011

Our foster girl Sasha meeting her sister (after being separated May 22, 2011) after being flown (compliments of Air Transat) from Mexico to Canada to their foster homes...and now their forever home...together again at last!!.  Both girls were fostered separately  by two different Rescues (thank you LOYAL Rescue Inc. and Rat Terrier Rescue!) for pulling and saving these precious little girls, who somehow found their way to the same adoptive home months later.  What a great happy tail ending!

Isobel (now Chica) was really excited to see her sister Sasha (now Mojo) again after meeting her for the first time in 2 months!

Two peas in a pod...

Sharing 'their' water bowl!

Got our first update this morning on how Sasha (Mojo) is doing and she's doing wonderful!  She is enjoying country life and is now headed to the cottage for a week with her sister and new family.  What a wonderful ending for these two sisters to find their way into the same forever home...together at last! Way to go girls!
