When people say, 'I couldn't foster because it would be to hard to give a dog up' We say 'How can it be harder than knowing a dog died because no foster home stepped up?' and that's why we do it time and time again.

Camp Stockdale

This past weekend we attended the annual 'Camp Stockdale' get together with good friends, great guitar music, yummy food and lots of laughs.  This year we decided to take Corky and Nutmeg along (the girls); ok, John's girls  ; )   since it would be the first time for both to experience the fresh country air along with a nice camp fire.  Both enjoyed the experience immensely!  Our friends take in and rescue horses, so it was also their first time meeting a horse; one who was just rescued and arrived that same day! Corky growled just a wee bit, but was fine after that.  They quite loved all the kisses and snuggles from everyone and were pooped out by the end of the evening and both fell fast asleep on the way home.
