When people say, 'I couldn't foster because it would be to hard to give a dog up' We say 'How can it be harder than knowing a dog died because no foster home stepped up?' and that's why we do it time and time again.
A Dog's Prayer: "Treat me kindly, my beloved friend, for no heart in the entire world is more grateful for your kindness than mine. Don't be angry with me for long, and don't lock me up as punishment. After all, you have your job, your friends and your entertainment. I only have you."

Little John - New Foster!

This is Little John, our newest adventure in fostering.  Quite unexpected but URGENT.

Through NO fault of his own or because of anything he did, Little John somehow found his way into the local shelter (as a stray) in the dead of winter.  Given his size (now 5 lbs) and the neglected state he was in, underweight you could see his bones, he obviously would not have lasted long outside in the cold if he were a stray.  He is approximately 6 years old (vet's guess).

You see, Little John's # came up and he almost didn't make it out of the shelter, BUT Thanks to LOYAL Rescue Inc. he is now SAFE and just in  time too ~  I can't imagine any owner NOT wanting to try and find him.

That being said, I'm so GLAD he has found his way into rescue and our lives. Now he can have the life he was meant to have, a life he should have had all along.
Look at that face! Who can resist that?

Little John is the most friendliest and happiest little dude.  He's an easy going and laid back kinda guy who is  happy to find a lap to be on.
Little John has had all his vetting done; neuter, vaccinations and dental (cleaning and extractions).
He is now ready to start on his journey in search of a new family, a forever family this time.  Someone who will love him unconditionally through the good times and the bad times, someone who will take proper care of him; that includes regular vet visits when it's needed and any medical needs taken care of.  This little man needs more then just love to keep him healthy and happy.

Please go to LOYAL Rescue Inc.'s website to submit an application online for Little John.

If you have additional questions about Little John, please email me directly at snowdonna42@yahoo.ca

He won't last long in rescue, that's for sure!

  1. It always boggles my mind how these guys come in as strays and their owners don't ever find them!

  2. He's perfect in every way, other then needing basic vetting done. Healthy, happy, great little dog! I just don't understand people; probably best I don't. Thanks Mel! : )
