When people say, 'I couldn't foster because it would be to hard to give a dog up' We say 'How can it be harder than knowing a dog died because no foster home stepped up?' and that's why we do it time and time again.
A Dog's Prayer: "Treat me kindly, my beloved friend, for no heart in the entire world is more grateful for your kindness than mine. Don't be angry with me for long, and don't lock me up as punishment. After all, you have your job, your friends and your entertainment. I only have you."

Little John (now named Julio) Adopted and Happy at Last!

From early updates Little John, now  named 'Julio' is doing wonderful!  He's already very well travelled in the short few days since his adoption.  Julio goes to work with his new daddy every day and loves to keep many laps warm throughout the day.  He's really enjoying all the attention paid to him and especially enjoys walks with his dad as well as overlooking the New York skyline from his new digs.  He's an uptown boy now and deservedly so.  It's his time to be spoiled; no more neglect for this sweet boy.

Julio, we couldn't be more happy for you and your new family.   We look forward to hearing all about your  adventures.  What a journey it has been for you to get to this point, but you are finally 'home', and we couldn't think of a dog more deserving. : )
