When people say, 'I couldn't foster because it would be to hard to give a dog up' We say 'How can it be harder than knowing a dog died because no foster home stepped up?' and that's why we do it time and time again.
A Dog's Prayer: "Treat me kindly, my beloved friend, for no heart in the entire world is more grateful for your kindness than mine. Don't be angry with me for long, and don't lock me up as punishment. After all, you have your job, your friends and your entertainment. I only have you."

Happy One Month BIRTH-day Sweet Angels!

I can't believe these sweet babies are already one month old!  All are very healthy and doing wonderful and meeting all milestones.  They have now transitioned to solids and are both paper/pee pad trained.  Their teeth are coming through, so they are now starting to teethe which means lots of durable chew toys are in order! Their individual personalities are starting to emerge as they enjoy playing with each other and their toys.  They are growing and changing so fast that I try to capture as much of them as possible before they change yet again.  We are so blessed to be able to help care for these special pups, even if it's only for a short while.  We enjoy every single minute we have with all of them

Thank you for visiting my Rescue Dog Blog!

  2. That's an understatement! LOL  Sherman weighed 8.4lbs at barely 4 weeks of age.  We've gone through almost 30 lbs of dry dog food (watered down with formula) and have gone through over 30lbs of powdered puppy formula in under 3 weeks!  The best news...NO more bottle feeding!!!  And they're just a month old. LOL  Yep, all should have forever homes by January, otherwise, it's gonna get a little crowded around here. ; )   As for my  heart, I'm in complete and total utter LOVE (Puppy love that is!) with ALL of them!  and enjoying every single moment we have until they leave us. : (     I wish I had a large home in the country; but then again, if I did, I'd be tempted to keep them all, which I know I can't.  Oh Mel, they are gonna be hard ones for me when they leave.
